Hello and welcome to my page! First of all I hope you will enjoy browsing my artwork, as much as I enjoyed making it!
My name is Vikki, I'm 21 and am studying Architecture in Scotland. However I'm really a Lancashire lass at heart, as I was born and spent all my life there until Uni. I'm quite torn because I adore Scotland but love Lancashire too!
Most of my artwork is photography, which I love. It has made me a much more observant person, and I seem to see things in a different way to what most other people seem to.
I never manipulate my photography after it's been taken. This means that taking the photograph is a considered process, because quite simple I cannot afford to waste film!!
I also love knitting. I love making handmade clothes and other creations, I love the textures, colours and forms that I can create using a pair of wooden needles and a ball of yarn.
Consequently the two interests had to come together at some point, and that's how I discovered it brings me great pleasure to photograph beautiful, luxury yarns! I also like to photograph wildlife, people, architecture, and the world as I see it.
